Everyone knows my extreme anger and hatred of Lou and his son. Both completely destroyed this franchise. When Lou wasn't back I celebrated like they won the cup. Was an amazing feeling. Lou is the worst gm in the history of sports. Glad LOUser is out of here good riddance
Honestly, Lou hurt the season ticket sales and the promotion of the team. It’s a no brainer to promote these kids, and spread the Islanders brand. You’ve got to get more local and national exposure, and all these little things count. Ultimately winning is the best solution for promoting these kids and the Islanders brand, but until then this stuff is gold. Make the Islanders logo Great Again, make it trendy and cool 😎! Especially amongst the younger generation of hockey fans and kids throughout the NHL. Let’s face it outside the Cup years when I was in high school, this franchise has been nothing short of a Black Hole. Accept it and start anew and reinvent it from the top to bottom. I think this ownership has done a great job and will continue to do so. In reality we never had owners like this in the history of the franchise. The worm is finally turning.
